A bit about Me

It’s not just a profession - it’s a way of thinking

As an experienced designer, my work is my lifestyle. I am constantly observing the world, how people interact with technology, objects and space!

I value clarity, functionality and purpose : both in design & in life. I believe the best design solutions come from curiosity, collaboration and out-of-the-box thinking.

My design philosophy has always been focused on problem solving with uncompromising craft. I've been very lucky to be able to work across multiple verticals in a close collaboration with partners — from consumer e-commerce to fraud management to cloud infra.

Outside work:

Originally from Pune (India) I currently call Oakland (CA) a home.
…and I’m crazy about vegetarian food, wine, making clay sculptures and traveling to places near & far!

What I do

Where users and business meet

I turn complex systems into clear experiences by moving through the full design arc, always balancing what people need with what the business is trying to achieve.

  1. DiscoverImmerse in customer research and the technical context.
  2. DefineFrame the real problem and align teams on strategy.
  3. DevelopExplore, prototype and validate quickly, with AI-assisted tools.
  4. DeliverShip scalable patterns together with engineering.
How I work together

Design is a team sport

The best work happens when product, engineering, data science and design think out loud together, early and often.

  • I like to start the conversation earlyI’d rather sit down with product, engineering and data folks before there’s a single screen, so we’re all solving the same problem from day one.
  • I sketch before I debateA rough prototype beats a long meeting. I get something in front of people quickly, and we learn what’s actually worth building.
  • I bring the customer into the roomI share what I hear from users, the quotes, the journey maps, the awkward moments, so everyone can feel what they’re feeling.
  • I care about the people, tooHonest critique, mentoring and a shared design system keep the team growing and the work feeling like ours.
